Daniel Kemeny (1981) is an Swiss artist based in Berlin and marusoo (1983) is Estonian artist living and working in London and Tallinn.
Their newly collaboration is in the field of light, sound and space installations.
Kemeny & Marusoo are interested in experimenting, content-related exchanges and in the dynamics of artworks.
Their installations are systems of constant transformation created in strong relation with the architectonic surroundings.
In Kemeny’s videos, installations and sculptural arrangements he carries out contextual research on materials and makes use of everyday objects and situations. He likes to work in the border of public and private and quite often his works are set up in public places where he creats the changes of meanings and motifs with a little humorous references to the context.
Collaboration of Kemeny & Marusoo aims to define new borders between separated places and to create new dialogues between visitors and artwork.

Daniel Kemeny on Šveitsist pärit Berliinis töötav kunstnik ja Marusoo on Eesti kunstnik kes töötab Londonis ja Tallinnas.
Nende hiljuti alanud koostöö hõlmab videot, fotot ja installatsiooni. Nad on huvitatud eksperimenteerimisest sisulise infovahetusega ja kunstiteoste dünaamilisusest. Käesoleval näitusel esitatud valgus ja heliinstallatsioon “Ülim kokkupuutepiirkond” summeerib kogu Kunstihoone näituse- ja arhitektuurikeskkonna üheks totaalseks valgus ja helikogemuseks, mis ületab konkreetse koha- ja ruumispetsiifika, muutudes desorienteeruva ülevalgustusega, immateriaalseks ergastatud ruumis justkui metafooriks kogu näitusetervikule.
